University student from Stockton killed in Oregon crash | News
OAKRIDGE, OR (AP) -- Two University of Oregon students were killed and a third injured in a crash on Highway 58 east of Oakridge.
Oregon State Police say it was foggy with patches of ice on the roadway about 7 a.m. Saturday when the car left the highway and hit a tree.
The crash killed Collin Phillip La More, 21, of Stockton and Ellis Michael Heyer, 21, of Amherst, Mass.
The driver, Nicholas John Ries, 21, of Portland, was treated for serious injuries at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield.
