St. Joseph's presents mind-body wellness series

Are you sick and tired of feeling stressed and tired? Has that old way of thinking just about worn you out? St. Joseph’s Cancer Center is proud to offer a free wellness series designed to renew your spirit, relax the mind, and rejuvenate the body, while introducing you to new perspectives and amazing tools to put you back into the driver’s seat! The following classes will show you how to find peace and balance:

Wednesday, May 11 – We all know how very connected our emotional state is to our physical wellbeing. Using guided imagery, we’re going to offload guilt and emotional baggage and start fresh! Through deep relaxation your body will have a chance to rest and repair, while your mind is given the emotional relief necessary to bring balance into your life. You will be given tools that work to keep stress in its proper place – away from you!

Instructor Linda Potter is a certified hypnotist with a specialty in meditation and past-life regression. Linda is a co-author of the soon to be published book, “The Miracle of Self-Healing.”

Wednesday, May 18 – What brings you joy in life? Very often our focus goes not to those joyous moments, but instead gets distracted by those same old negative thought patterns. Would you like to change that? If you’re ready to give up the stress of struggle and fear, join us! Through meditation and mindfulness skills, you will discover how easy it is to be in the joyful flow of life.

Instructor Dr. Hyma Kunamneni, Ph.D., is a Clinical Psychologist turned spiritual life coach with a passion to integrate her western clinical training with eastern spiritual wisdom to empower her clients to live in bliss!
