United Way partners with the San Joaquin County Fair | Events
The San Joaquin County Fair announces a new community partnership with the largest non-profit organization in the county, the United Way of San Joaquin. Andy Prokop, CEO, states, “Our United Way is proud to partner with the dedicated community leaders who serve as the Board of Directors for the San Joaquin County Fair. We are especially excited to work with Kate Post, as she continues to help us by creating an opportunity to raise new funds during the Fair.” Corporations such as McDonald’s, General Mills, Humana, Chevron, The New Stockton 99 Speedway, Pepsi, Chase Chevrolet, and the Downtown Stockton Alliance will be providing a limited number of giveaways at the entrance gates during Fair dates Thursday, September 20 through Sunday, September 23 and Thursday, September 27 through Sunday, September 30.
“United Way, along with some of our best business leaders, will be at the SJC Fair entrances accepting your donations and handing out lots of free stuff through out this fun, friendly and good-for-the-whole-family event,” says Andy.
Donation containers will be placed at the gate for monetary contributions to United Way. So give a little or give a lot; you’ll be helping those in our county at the San Joaquin County Fair. It’s a Free Admission Fair and one of only six (6) horse-racing fairs in the state of California!
